PAPER PRESENTATION
- This event tests the intellect and depth of knowledge of a student.
- The presentation skills of the person is also evaluated here.
- A team should comprise one or two members.
- Abstracts(SHOULD BE IN IEEE FORMAT) of their presentation are to be mailed to altius10.ece@gmail.com on or before September 15th 2010.
- Mention name, college, mail id, contact number of the participants while mailing the abstracts.
- Maximum of 10 minutes(Excluding questioning session) will be provided for presenting a paper.
- Hostel accommodation and one way travel allowance(applicable only for paper &project presentation) will be provided.
- Kindly register online and then mail the abstract.
QUIZ:
- The team should attempt to answer the questions correctly.
- This is a sport to measure one’s skills, abilities and talents.
- Team can have maximum of two members.
- Prelims will be a written test and will be conducted on September 28th, 2010.
- Top scorers of the prelims will be selected for finals.
- The questions will be both TECHNICAL AND NON-TECHNICAL.

Mini project presentation

- This is a chance to exhibit one’s talent.
- A team should comprise one or two members.

Professor’s challenge
1. This activates brain and improve brainstorming skills.
2. Brings out the judgment skills.
3. It is a team event with at most 3 members in a team.
4. Prelims will be a written test.
5. Winners will be evaluated based on the solution proposed by each team for the problem they are given with.

Dumb charade:
- The idea is to use physical rather than verbal language to convey the meaning to another party.
- This Word guessing game depicts the creativity of a man.

Circuit debugging
- This is for analyzing the given circuit.
- The defects in the connections need to be identified.
- The team (MAX OF TWO PERSONS) who debugs the more circuit at a faster rate will be rewarded.

- Examines the programming ability of a team.
- More rewards for quick outputs.
- Max of two persons allowed per team.

Robotics:
- This shows cleverness and resourcefulness of a team.
- Each team should have two persons.
- Registration can be online or on the spot.
Adzap:
- Team of four needs to exhibit their marketing skills.
- Prelims consist of logo, product identification and logo designing.
- Registration can be online or on the spot.
- Expression of one’s opinion is the need of the hour.
- The solutions for the current problems can be sought by discussing.
- The one who is communicative always wins rewards and stays forever in the hearts of people.
Gaming:
The most interesting and enjoyable part of the symposium, which gives both memorable moments and attractive cash prizes.
JAM:
- Just in a minute, the entire scenario might change
- The one, who plans his / her words for a minute, will be cashing money.
